Sunday, March 19 Open House

Join us at our open house to explore all the new changes at YOUR library! On Sunday, March 19, the Library Staff will open the library from 1 pm - 3 pm to show the community how we are transforming from a "library" to a "community center." There will be stations throughout the library for children of all ages to use our newest STEM educational tools. The youngest children will use their imaginations to pretend they are in a bank or grocery store, while at the same time using math and literacy skills during the open house. Grade school children are encouraged to test out our newest scientific tools that enforce basic academic concepts.

Launchpads for children will begin to circulate at our March open house. These Launchpads are pre-loaded tablets with high quality, ad-free learning apps that enforce various educational topics. Additionally, our new mural entitled, Nazareth Library, A Place Where Community Comes Together will be officially revealed.

Our community partner Country Meadows will be onsite at the library providing coloring books, crafts, and cookies for children.  Don't miss a photo-op with their mascot Leader the life sized Saint Bernard. Hewho will be leading the children in the Hokey Pokey and other well known childhood songs. Learn about job opportunities and services available at Country Meadows.

Other areas of interest featured at our open house include our free museum passes to the Grounds for Sculpture and the Academy of Natural Sciences, our new database addition of, and the ability to make an evening appointment to work one-on-one with a staff member to learn about technology! I hope you can join us on March 19. I look forward to seeing you there.
